Formed in 1980, Bing Thom Architects benefits from the personal touch its founder brings to every project the company undertakes.
Mr. Thom's company has received countless prestigious international design awards for work around the world. His most recent projects include the medals plaza for the 2010 Winter Games, the award-winning Pacific Canada Pavilion at the Vancouver Aquarium and the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts, the $120 million Surrey City Centre, and in China, the Yuxi Concert Hall and the Yuxi City MasterPlan. Recently Mr. Thom received the Order of Canada for his contribution to architecture in this country. |

Founded in 1965 by Colin Stephens and Brian Cranfield, Design International has grown into one of the most respected organizations of its kind, with offices in Toronto, London, and Dallas.
The company has won numerous awards, most recently including the 2001 International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC) Award for Innovative New Project Design and Construction for Empress Walk in Toronto, the ICSC Europe Small Centre Award for Kamp Galleria in Helsinki, Finland and the ICSC Award for Upgrading an Existing Project for Chapel Hills in Colorado Springs. Design International research arm developed the merchandising strategy for Aberdeen Centre. |
